"I'll Always Love You"

Yes, you are correct ... Its another sunset created using my Chameleon pens. Have I told you how much I LOVE them? LOL

Those that know me know my hubby and I ride motorcycle. And yes, I even had my own for awhile ... An illness put a halt to that 😢 That all said, what better Valentine for a biker than one with a bike on it!

I then used multiple chameleon pens to create my road, and then finally stamped the verse in black. I rounded the corners before adhering to the next later.

Once again ...layered... And layered again onto the card Front.

I stamped the bike image in black and then masked it. I then created my sunset using my Chameleon pens, and stamped over that with the treeline image, again in black.

I stamped the verse onto a piece of white cardstock and tore it at an angle. I used my Chameons to create the coloured lines down the left side and attached it to the inside of the card.

"Young at Heart"

Believe it or not ... A bit of humour in this card!

IMAGE 1 - FRONT: The nude image on the front is one of my own original drawings made into a stamp under my Digital Princess Designs (DPD) line. I stamped her with black ink onto white linen cardstock cut into a rectangle and then used a corner rounder on all 4 corners.

I then stamped "Young at Heart" in black ink onto a white strip of white linen, and brushed the edges top and bottom, with black ink. This was wrapped across the bottom of the first piece and taped on the backside. All of this was layered onto black cardstock and then onto a white card.

IMAGE 2 - INSIDE
I stamped the old lady in black ink onto a square piece of white cardstock and coloured her using my Chameleon pens. I then outlined her again with a fine black ink to enhance the black lines. I rounded the corners and layered it into a piece of black cardstock and then adhered it to the upper portion of the card inside.

Next I stamped the verse on white cardstock and layered it into black and then used foam tape to adhere it to the lower right of the image.

And lastly I stamped the "Happy Birthday to You" in black ink on the bottom.

"Thinking of you ... By the Sea"

On white cardstock I stamped my lighthouse, my ship, and the sandy bank in black ink. The bank didn't extend as far as I wanted so I used a fine black pen to draw it out farther behind my lighthouse. Once that was done I created masks for the lighthouse, the moon, and the ship.

And once again I created my sunset background but this time using my ink pads, beginning with my yellows and blending in my dark blues to create a cloudy dark sky. I then added a hint of orange above my moon. Sponges work well for this ...torn to stop them from leaving sharp edges as you paint.

I then removed all of the masks. From there I began to add the rest of my colour to the lighthouse, ship, water, sandbanks, and the grass. As a final touch of colour I used the dark blue ink pad scraping it against the outer edges of the cardstock. And once again I used my fine black pen to touch up and to outline my moon.

I stamped the "Thinking of You" onto a rectangular piece of white cardstock, rounded the corners and then painted it with yellow ink, and finished the edges with the dark blue ink pad. I mounted it into the card front using dbl sided foam tape.

And finally ...I layered this whole piece onto green cardstock, and finally onto a cream coloured card.

"Just because I Love you ..."

Its almost Valentine's Day and I've been on a card making spree. This is one of several I've made lately and I am fairly happy with.

After stamping my moose image, colouring it, and then masking it, I created the background 'sunset' using my Chameleon pens.Oh how I love playing with them! Before I started 'painting' with them I masked out my moon keeping in mind where I would be stamping and how I want my colours to fit for the reflection.

After creating the background I stamped an Impression Obsession stamp #J7789 in black ink. This is the tree stamp with the reflection. NICE stamp!!

Next was the 'grass' ... Again just coloured with my Chameleons in 2 shades of green.

Next up ... I used a Pine tree stamp I have and added to my card, filling in foliage around the moose and across the foreground, and removing the masks over the moose and moon I added more trees.

Now I used a fine black pen to enhance details on the whole scene. Stronger outlines on the moose and enhancing the trees, even drawing in a few things were I felt it was called for, including a few trees in front of the moon.

And finally ... I stamped the text (using one of my own stamps from my Digital Princess Designs line) onto green cardstock. I cut out my banner by hand and then used the edge of my ink pad to scrape the edges of it and 'scuffed' across it with the black pen a bit creating a 'wood' look. Foam tape to attach it giving it a bit of dimension.

And then ... layers. I almost always have at least 2 layers on top of my main card.

And there you have it ..."Just Because" ...

💜💜💜

Lets try this once again :)

Catch up time ... I tried this once before and didn't get very far but this time will be different right? :)

I'm going to begin posting some of my artwork. Until I get caught up on a bunch of pieces i'd like to share, I will be doing lots of posting. Before I start sharing this blog is like to have some actual content :)

So ... That said the first few things I post will not be in any chronological order.
